I want to learn how to do basic things on adobe photoshop CS2? For example, how can I draw basic things like lines, squares, circles, and shapes? (also cut, paste, etc) What are some tips that will save me a lot of time, and what are some common mistakes and things to avoid? And how can I learn how to use layers properly? Keep in mind that the only drawing software I know how to use is the old "mspaint" on windows.
There is a book brought out by Adobe called "Classroom in a book". Great advice and you’ll really learn something. Stay away from books "For Dummies". They talk down to you and are not helpful at all.
Photoshop is a vast program. Just explore it and ‘play’ with it. You can’t ruin anything especially if you use the SAVE AS button, and rename the file. (Your original stays unedited that way, waiting until you become an expert!)
I want to retouch some photos and don’t want to have to pay a lot of monely and want to be able to do it myself. Any suggestions?
Definitely Picasa2. Its a freeware. Its great. I use it in conjuction with Adobe elements which i have to pay for it. But yeah Picasa2 for sure !
I am training on photoshop cs3 with this training CD that I have. However, It’s not really that easy for me. I was wondering if I have to learn something before I learn photoshop.
Yeah, you could either start by learning the basics of photoshop through the basic tutorials on your cd or online (just search for photoshop cs3 tutorial in google). Or, do what I did which I believe is much easier; figure out what you want to do with your pictures and then look for how to do it in your cd or online tutorials. So, learn as you go.
I would like a photo editing software that is easy to use to do things like fix flaws in photos- maybe even whiten teth and such.
What is a good program that is easy to use? Also, where do I buy it and about how much is it?
Thanks!
