No, you have the legal use of version 6, not 8. You could try and see if you can find version 6 on the internet and then enter your code that way, or contact Wacom and tell them about the problems you’re having and they should assist you

If you have installation problems with any Photoshop program, it is a free call and free service at Adobe to get it fixed. Call them. They should get your Elements 6 installed and running.
