		<description>Unfortunately, you will need to re-install PH CS2 on your new computer with the original install disc - trying to use the old serial will not work, because a new activation is required.

As far as other photo editing software is concerned, there are a couple of viable options, but it does depend on your needs.

Krita (part of an open source office suite) - really very good, even supports high colour modes, but the installation can be difficult:
