Repoussé not working… Open GL needs to be turned on in CS5 preferences. If it can’t be turned on it means your video card isn’t powerful enough like on the Macbook pro 2.2 or the driver needs updating {on windows machines only}. There is a possible solution for those unfortunate enough to own a laptop with a card that doesn’t have enough umph & that is an external video card solution. For example check out ViDock. I’m going to look into it – and looks useful for other applications and gaming.

@like2program While I don’t disagree with you, I invite you to send me a message and I’ll provide links so you can see both images side by side. But keep in mind that this is a 3D compositing demo, not a photo correction demo.

The text you created and the text that was originally present in the picture are drastically different due to your texture; the texture has a detrimental effect on the quality of the photo and the photo is better without it.
July 27th, 2010 at 4:50 am
@AdamKaoru Weird, the 3D-effect on my PC is pretty darn fast. Depends heavily on hardware I guess.
July 27th, 2010 at 5:34 am
@moondy72
It’s slower on my PC, and I have a very nice graphics card…

When you added the texture the right side of the marquee was too bright.
Anyway, good tutorial
