Whats the difference between Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Image Ready CS2?

I noticed that Adobe Image Ready CS2 has layers and the color palet just like Adobe Photoshop CS2… okay the very top is kinda different…. but why the different names then?

And would I be able to use it as I would Photoshop?
so is Adobe Image Ready CS2 better than Adobe Photoshop CS2?

    ImageReady can create web pages in addition to editing images. Photoshop only does images.
