How much do graphic designers charge to design a corporate logo for a company?

I’m a student studying graphic design in college right now and I am starting to do freelance design work.

it depends on the portfolio of the company.

I have a small private Real Estate company and we payed $375 for logo design, letterhead, cards, envelopes, and rubber stamps. Not to bad, but I’m in Texas, and it was done by a local designer (small town).

It depends. Paul Rand made several thousand dollars for the UPS logo. It dopends on the quality of work, experience and such. The girl who designed the Nike logo was an intern and didn’t get a dime from it.
