Learn Photoshop – How to Create a Movie Poster

    Gimp is usually on par with more standard things in PS like layers and masks, so yes, I believe you can do the same, but the tools/menus might be slightly different.

    but it didn’t transparent
    or maybe bc i did it different
    i used 2 pictures but not on top of each other like yours but side to side

    Make sure you have your gradient set as “foreground to background” and your foreground color is black.
