what photo editing program is out there, that is equal to Digital Image Pro?

I need to replace my beloved Digital Image Pro, photo editing prog. Gimp is more than I can understand, and more than I need. I checked out Pegasus and that is too simple. I need the same features as DIP. Change back ground, cut out items, change colors, special effects, detailed touch up etc. Is there a site to sample various photo editing programs?

Photoshop is a really great photo editing program. You can do pretty much everything you asked for using it, and it’s industry standard with most graphic design companies. You should definitely check it out!

Picnik.com is really good. And its free plus no downloading needed. I use it with my myspace pictures every once in awhile
