i agree that she didn’t need any retouch at all, additionally, the result doesn’t look that good^^
BUT, i guess no one could do a really professional retouch in 20(!) minutes and he made this vid only to show us, how to use these tools and how they are working. thank you, i’ve learned a lot

She looks really airbrushed and nowadays that’s really what magazines/agencies/ do NOT want. If you are a professional editor – which you claim to be – I, as a photographer wouldn’t want you to retouch my images because this I can do myself. It’s photoshop for dummys – everyone does this nowadays. I thought at the beginning of the video that you were going to show us something really good but in the end the editing didn’t add something, or made the photo better. That’s what editing is NOT about.

well the end result …
well the end result might not be the best but that’s not the point of the video, it’s to show you how you can use these tools to edit the pictures and he did an awesome job with doing so.

By the end of the …
By the end of the process the woman looks _very_ photoshopped. That’s a bad thing. The sign of a good photoshop job is that you wouldn’t know it was photoshopped. With this image you’d have to be blind to not notice the alterations.
On the plus side, at least you explain clearly _how_ you massacre the image – an improvement on many tutorials.
