How to get Adobe Photoshop CS3 from my old Mac to my new one?

When I had adobe photoshop installed onto my old Mac, I didn’t buy a disk or anything. Someone I know had a technician over and told me that I could have a number of programs installed onto my laptop, Adobe Photoshop amongst them. So what is a way I can transfer it onto my new Mac? I tried copying the application onto my new Mac using a flash disk, but it didn’t open, there was some sort of error. Can anybody help?

How do I transfer photos from Olympus Master to Adobe Photoshop?
